Our rich red volcanic soil provides lush tropical green grass for our herd of over 350 Friesian and Jersey milking cows producing the best tasting milk and dairy products available.
Our herd is milked twice daily, and guests are welcome to view the afternoon milking between the hours of 3:00pm – 4:00pm each day.
The bulk of milk produced by Gallo’s, is processed at our local “Dairy Farmers” (brand) factory in Malanda just 10 minutes down the road. The rest is processed in our own cheese factory on site producing our famous, award-winning cheese.

The Café / Restaurant is fully air-conditioned capable of seating 100 people. Dairyland offers a wholesome menu from 9:30am. Join us for a late breakfast, lunch or morning and afternoon tea.
